Drawing inspiration from vintage, typographical and whimsical themes, Ryan surprises with an off-the-wall series of wallpaper designs that is fresh and quirky. The light-hearted nature of the various themes complement the bold bright colours used throughout the range. aLoveSupreme is both entertaining and sophisticated with a focus on original hand-drawn illustrations.

The aLoveSupreme wallpaper collection is made to order and can be made to suit any size specifications. Robin Sprong has recently started using a new type of pre-gummed wallpaper that is PVC free, 100% recyclable, and is printed with non-toxic latex inks.

Donna Solovei. Born in South Africa, 1981. Studied at both Chelsea and Camberwell College of Art, London. Exhibited locally and internationally with a range of works varying from Illustration, printmaking, textiles and product. Now living in Cape Town.

This body of work has been produced to evoke emotion and thought. Donna’s work has become a synchronicity of impressions from nature. Water, air, light, and the movement of these elements established a flow for the production of these pieces. It encompasses a broad palette derived from the library of nature. Donna has used many layers of almost transparent ink, and nuances of tone to create a suggestion and reveal a slightness of the delicate and fragile nature of our world.

It’s her translation of textures and color depicted from Cape Town’s environment that we observe and begin to feel through her painting and printmaking.

Blandat was founded in 2013 by the Dutch designer Debby van der Veer, a graduate of the KABK Art Academy in The Netherlands.

BLANDAT is the swedish word that is used to describe a mix of material, colour and technique. It represents the essence that typifies the brand, particularly being hand drawn illustrations with an always visible pencil, combined with many textures brought together which result in prints inpired by Africa.

Blandat currently produces a range of illustrated scarfs and a small range of fabrics. “Le chique d’ afrique” collection has the nice and nasty brought together, in structures and visuals. The collection makes combinations of organic stuctures with man made items that display luxury and wealth. Prints can be big and overwhelming, creating a world wherein one is inspired, confronted and encouraged to be creative. Colours are sometimes found to be wild and clashing. Blandat’s geometric prints are combinations of triangles & blocks with multiple different structures that play with one’s eye in the most strange, yet familiar ways.

OhSoSa is collaboration between interior designer, Paige Waplington, and photographer, Warwick Locke. “We wanted our designs to be about things that are South African, from hadedas to giraffes, strilitzias to zebras, with maybe a chongololo thrown in there somewhere; these things are all Oh So South African.”

Boledi is Glorinah’s praise singing name usually used to show the highest form of respect and acknowledgement.

Born in Limpopo and grew up in the city of Pretoria, she has embedded her nostalgic early childhood life in her heart and continues to reflect it in her wallpapers and fabrics, whilst her modern side is strongly evident in her furniture range.

Extreme neutrals, bold geometric patterns, careful use of colour and simple lines represent her signature style. Being a true city girl with a rural heart, her core mission is to re-define the African design style and introduce her version ofhigh-end modern Africa to the modern world.
